    Many thanx Lennart,

Can`t wait to play. Ill bet i take a vacation 2 weaks after release so i can lock myself in my mancave and play some AOW3.

The video is great. Love to see more of the orcs and the glimpses of 2 siege battles near the end of the video.

Does this mean all aspects of the NDA is lifted, and the testers can answer every question–as well as post videos? ;)

    Indeed :(

We really need the NDA lifted, so we can better inform ourselves before purchasing (a fantasy TBS fanatic like me will buy automatically, but it would help enlighten a lot of folks on the fence).

    Epaminondas,

Normally people who play closed beta`s are not allowed to ever talk about what they have seen and played in a closed beta.

I think the NDA rules are not that strict on the forums. There is plenty of info to be found.

Is there any advantage to prepurchasing over to just buying the game when it releases? Sorry, strategy gamer.

I would have a small question. On the GOG site it says,

Bonus content included for FREE with purchase:
    19 bestiary sketches
    5 avatars
    8 wallpapers
    7 character concepts
    6 cities concept arts
    6 faction crests

Is this GOG exclusive content or would we receive the same boni when we buy the game on Steam?

    @Dwilaseth;

French interface and subtitles will be available (as noted on Steam). Only the audio is in English.

    Merci!

    Kind regards,

GOG is DRM-free, Steam isn’t (i.e. I believe you need an internet connection and a Steam account to play it). GOG offers compensation for regional pricing, Steam doesn’t. While I can’t say for sure yet, I believe Steam will likely offer more convenient matchmaking services with other Steam users you’re friends with. The Steam version will allow you to access the Steam overlay while playing (I’m assuming). As mentioned above, the GOG version may come with some bonus content that the Steam version doesn’t have.

At the end of the day, there isn’t a massive difference. I’m going with GOG to support that website (and out of a rooted objection to DRM) but really it’s a toss-up.

Okay, I think I heard something about problems witb dlcs and GOG, otherwise GoG seems the suppior choice.

I have to reiterate the other questions asked in this post but what’s the deal with the box set?

I really want to purchase the Digital Deluxe Edition found on steam, but I am concerned that if I do that I won’t have the opportunity to get the box set.

However, if there happens to be a box set and I purchase that I won’t be able to get those pre-order exclusive maps

Any sort of clarification from somebody would be really great

In the video I noticed something called a Warbreed, is that a Warlord unit or an Orc unit?

I also noticed Orc Monster Hunters, which were cheaper the the Warbreed so I’m going its a tier 3 unit while the Warbreed is a tier 4 Unit?

I want to get the physical copy. I live in S.Korea and I guess I have to get it via international shopping in Amazon aft the release date.

Im more than willing to buy the deluxe edition to grab the two scenarios but I wanna buy the physical copy too… what should I do.. buying the physical copy on release date will fail me getting those two scenarios?

This is wonderful news. Congratulations on completing the game and my hopes for an enormously successful release. I’ve been following this series since seeing an ad for World of Wonders in an old Epic catalog in the mid-90s, was overjoyed to hear you were returning to it, and am still in stunned disbelief that a sequel is really coming out. Best wishes to you all.
